What are Cookies?

Small text files that websites store in your browser

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser when you visit it, containing information that can be retrieved on subsequent visits.

Regulatory Framework

The use of cookies is governed by the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC), transposed in Spain via the LSSICE, and by the GDPR where cookies involve the processing of personal data. The regulations require clear information and prior consent for cookies that are not strictly necessary.

Cookies We Use

Complete and exact list — only Google Analytics analytical cookies

Mentomy does not install any cookies of its own. The only cookies present come from Google Analytics and are installed exclusively on the public pages indicated below.

🚫 Own cookies

  • None  No own cookies

Mentomy Inteligencia Artificial SL does not install any cookies of its own in the user's browser. Session management within the platform is handled via JSESSIONID, a session identifier managed entirely server-side that is never persisted in the browser beyond the active session.

📈 Analytical cookies — Google Analytics

ℹ️  “Public pages” refers to index.jsp, signup.jsp and resources_blog.jsp — marketing pages accessible without authentication.

International data transfer — Google Analytics

Google Analytics transfers browsing data to Google LLC servers in the United States. This transfer is carried out under the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission (Decision 2021/914), an adequate safeguard under Chapter V of the GDPR. We have enabled IP anonymisation: the full IP address is never sent to Google. See Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

3

Google Analytics

What we use it for, how we have configured it and what data it collects

We use Google Analytics 4 to obtain anonymous statistics on traffic to our public pages. This helps us improve the website.

Purpose and privacy configuration

  • Statistical purposes only

Data collected by GA4 is used exclusively to understand traffic volume, visit origins and general browsing behaviour on Mentomy's public pages. It is not used for advertising, profiling or any other purpose.

  • IP anonymisation enabled

The visitor's full IP address is never transmitted to Google. Only a truncated version is sent, which cannot be used to identify the user individually.

  • Google Signals disabled

We have disabled Google Signals, which prevents Mentomy data from being cross-referenced with users' Google accounts or used for remarketing or personalised advertising.

  • Never inside the authenticated platform

Google Analytics is not present on any page that requires authentication. User interactions with the AI assistant, queries made and documents accessed are never sent to Google.

4

The AI Platform

Zero analytical or third-party cookies — absolute guarantee for clients

The public website and the AI platform are technically separate environments with radically different cookie policies.

🔒 Client guarantees

  • Zero third-party cookies inside the platform

No external analytics service — including Google Analytics — is present inside Mentomy's AI platform. Cookies installed on the public website have no scope over the platform domain.

  • Complete technical separation

The public website (mentomy.com) and the AI platform are completely independent systems at both the technical and domain level. Cookies installed on the website do not travel to or become accessible from the platform.

  • Internal analysis without external data

Platform usage analysis is carried out via the system's own logs, stored on 100% EU infrastructure, accessible only by the client organisation's administrators. No platform usage data leaves European infrastructure.
